Romanticism

• It is a literary, intellectual, and most artistic current originated in the 18th. century in Western Europe. It became stronger and more common during the Industrial Revolution.
• Its Basis: The idea of romanticism was ti react against the politic and social parameters the the Enlightment Age had. And a reaction against the scientific rationalization of nature, and was embodied most strongly in the visual arts, music, and literature.
